Dick Miller

Richard Miller is a Pepperdine graduate, which he attended on a full tennis scholarship, with a degree in Business Administration. He is an accomplished real estate investor and holds accreditations as a California licensed real estate broker and a nationally recognized Certified Property Manager.
Over Richard's thirty-five-year career he has negotiated the sale or acquisition of over one billion dollars worth of commercial real estate. His property management company, Transtar, which he founded in 1987, has represented many of the countries top pension funds. Transtar has leased and managed well over five million square feet of commercial property and represented either the landlord or tenant in over 1,000 lease transactions.

Today Transtar has evolved into a full-service investment management firm. Over the past three years Richard has partnered with high net-worth individuals and family trusts in acquiring mobile home parks in the Southeast and Midwest. Currently Richard and his investors own nine mobile home parks in addition to office and industrial projects in Orange County.
Richard lives in Laguna Beach with Gretchen, his wife of almost twenty-nine years. He has two daughters, one of whom is 22, who attended Stanford University on a full golf scholarship and graduated with a degree in psychology. She is currently working in the Bay Area in the social marketing media field; the other is 19 and is a sophomore at USC and is member of the USC tennis team.
